Privacy Policy

Short version: Client Book does not have accounts, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not send your data to our servers. Everything you enter stays on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Client Book iOS app ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information you enter

The App lets you store appointments, client names and contact details, notes, birthdays, reference photos, services, income and expenses. This information is stored locally on your device, inside the App's private storage. We do not collect it, see it, or have access to it.

If you store information about your own clients, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for keeping it accurate.

2. Device permissions

Contacts — only if you choose to import a client from your address book. Only the contact you select is copied into the App.
Location (while using the App) — only to help you pick an appointment address. Your location is not stored or shared by us. Address search is provided by Apple Maps under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Photos — only the images you pick are saved in the App.
Notifications — reminders (for example, client birthdays) are scheduled locally on your device.

You can change any permission at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Analytics and tracking

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous App Store statistics (such as downloads and crash reports) if you have enabled sharing with app developers in iOS Settings.

4. Purchases

If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

5. Exports and backups

When you export data (for example, a CSV file of clients) or share it, you decide where it goes. Once shared outside the App, it is handled by the service you chose.

6. Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply and do not share it with third parties.

7. Data deletion

You can delete individual records in the App at any time. Deleting the App removes all of its data from your device.

8. Children

The App is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
